IRUN Canterbury is a new Chamber member committed to getting the internet really working for businesses in our area.

Paul Bourdillon is the local brains and initiative of IRUN and he brings the support and backup of a nationally established company with an expanding network of local offices and clients like the Royal College of Music and Thames Water.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Paul has a varied international background and training, from business management and IT to music and education. Now, through IRUN, he thrives on finding the best way for any enterprise to market itself on the internet whilst both developing its business and cutting costs. His recent expert talk to Chamber members, ‘5 Steps to Internet Marketing’, was very well received.

“I value good communication and work at building trust,” explains Paul. “I offer my knowledge, skills and experience to help my clients achieve what they really want for their business. My aim is to foster a long term, flexible relationship with them to ensure great value for money and continuing success.”

IRUN offers all that an enterprise needs to be visible, business-like and profitable on the World Wide Web, from website concept and build to competitor research, pay per click advertising and search engine optimisation. This ensures that a site is visible by Google for a range of relevant search terms and motivates internet users to become new customers.

When it comes to current and past customers, Paul is a firm believer in email marketing as a cost-effective way of maximising their potential - very important in the current climate.

His approach is paying off with a success that is growing fast and a local client list that includes Holiday Inn Express hotel at Folkestone and Maecenas Music, for whom IRUN Canterbury has built a comprehensive specialist business website. His clients are extremely happy with the results.

Paul is based at Chartham, where he has happily settled with his new wife. He is also an accomplished clarinettist and sportsman.
